Tim Crouch is the founding partner of The Crouch Group, Inc. He is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Tim spent seventeen years in radio and cable television, working with radio stations and cable systems in Oklahoma and Texas, before starting The Crouch Group in 1996. His background includes advertising sales and management, radio and television news, talk shows, sports play-by-play and commercial production.
Tim is an active United Methodist, and was elected as a lay delegate to represent the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church at the church’s 2000 and 2004 General Conference and as a delegate to the Jurisdictional Conferences in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. In 2001, Tim was one of 33 people initially selected to serve as a trainer for the denomination’s “Igniting Ministry Campaign”, a national United Methodist Media Campaign. He has served the church regionally through the North Texas Conference as the chair of Higher Education and Campus Ministry, on the Conference Board of Church and Society, Communications Commission, and Conference Igniting Ministry Team. He also received the Harry Denman Evangelism Award in 2004.
Tim is active in the North Texas community. He is the vice-chair of the Board of Directors for North Texas Public Broadcasting (KERA TV/Radio) He is the president of the Denton Parks Foundation, he has served as chair of the Denton ISD School Bond and Oversight Committee, and as chair of the Chamber of Commerce Sports Committee. He is also a life member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Denton County. Tim was honored by the Denton Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business Person of the Year in 1998 and Volunteer of the Year in 1999. He is also the public address announcer for all University of North Texas Football and Basketball games.
Tim has been married to Camille Milner, a Denton attorney, for 25 years. He is the father of two children, Charles Wesley age 21 and William, age 14.
