The first step is to print adhesive on to the garment and cure the adhesive.  Then a layer of foil is heat pressed onto the adhesive.  Since the foil only sticks to the adhesive it creates a design with the beautiful shimmering foil–something that can’t be achieved with your average, run of the mill, screen printing.
